Mann Made Corporate Services Isle of Man has promoted Denise Sheard, Associate Tax Director at the firm, to its board of Directors.
Denise, who is a member of The Chartered Institute of Taxation, joined Mann Made Group in 2013 as a tax manager. She was appointed Associate Tax Director in 2014. She has over 20 years’ experience working in UK and IOM tax. For the 14 years prior to joining Mann Made she was employed by a UK top 10 accountancy firm and (from 2008) its Isle of Man subsidiary, where she was the Senior Tax Manager.
Marian Ashcroft, Managing Director of Mann Made Corporate Services Isle of Man said: “The Mann Made Group as a whole is an outward looking business that needs great people to achieve its aims. I am personally delighted that Denise has proven herself in this respect and that her hard work, excellent inter-personal relationships and drive has earned her a place on the Board. She is a very capable individual with a wealth of tax experience who has also overcome the challenge of getting to grips with many of the other facets of our business. I have no doubt she will continue to be invaluable to her existing clients and to our growing client base.”
Denise Sheard commented: “I am very pleased that my hard work and commitment has led to this promotion. My work is always interesting, but challenging, in the face of the ever increasing volume and complexity of the tax legislation. UK and International tax reporting is constantly changing, and it is great to be part of a really strong tax team, which includes Amanda Cowley and Mark Cundy, knowing that we can offer an excellent service to both new and existing clients. Many of our clients have been with us for a significant number of years and it will be great to keep building on such long term relationships.”
